These terms govern your use of BQ Wizard ("the Add-in"), a Microsoft Excel add-in for construction bill of quantities management, developed by Ryan Christopher ("we", "us"). By activating a licence you agree to these terms.

BQ Wizard is an Excel add-in that allows users to browse, search, and insert construction specification items into spreadsheets, and to perform PDF plan take-off measurements. The Add-in includes optional cloud sync to back up your project data across devices.

All rights, title, and interest in the Add-in (including source code, design, and branding) remain with the developer. Your licence grants you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Add-in in accordance with these terms.

The Add-in is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calculations, or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for verifying any quantities or measurements produced by the Add-in before relying on them in professional work.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Add-in, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or errors in bill of quantities output. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Add-in after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
